sick......Is that where most forks break? The HS33 pulling I figure also prolly lended to that breaking....

Howdy!

sick......Is that where most forks break? The HS33 pulling I figure also prolly lended to that breaking.... I have the same fork and even though I'm just an old beginner, both fork legs
are cracked just above the four-bolt brake mounts. Of course, I'm riding
it anyway...... (No fool like an old fool) .

Maybe it's time to buy a new fork or something. Anybody want to sell
a complete fork/front disk/wheel setup?

dave i would suggest against the koxx huge fork..just get a px light or an echo urban.

Yeah Dave, Andrew is right!! Those Mastoxx forks suck. They're probably great for a strictly street bike, but they look bad for trials. Four pounds is pretty damn heavy for a rigid fork. You should just go with the tried and true Echo urban or something similar. I know there's a price difference, but that chromoly fork is going to make your bike feel like shit. Just my opinion buddy, oh, I think I can also hook you up with that pinned Brisa fork, if you're so inclined. There are a ton of views on here about the brisa products, but I'm not sure, it felt fine for me when I ran it,actually it did start to feel a little flexy when I started using the discs, but I do weight in at around two twenty right now also. You've ridden with me before too, so you know it wasn't too abused. I might also be able to get you a cannondale fatty R if you're interested. Hit me up if you have any interest at all buddy.

Bruce, you can get the Fatty forks? I remember the first time we rode at double rock you mentioned you can get them. PM me and let me know if they're still available and how much. Ive always liked that fork...

yeah, but Im not trying to pay retail for a rigid fork...
When I worked at a C'dale dealer a few years back, I tried to get one, but they'd only sell them in sets of like 4-5.

Trev,

If your local C'Dale dealer is in good with their rep, they can order a "warantee" fork for you. I did this through Princeton Sports in Columbia with the service manager (who I had never met before). $75 for the fork. C'Dale shipped it within a week.
