Can someone recomend a rear hub for a mod that is threaded not cassette? I am looking to run a front freewheel so it needs to have strong threads ( I have stripped a few the last time I had a front F/W using cheaper hubs).

monty quando is cheap, but seemingly indestructable.

the try-all mod hub is cassette i think, but i dont see why you wouldnt want htat one.

then theres always surly

any BMX hub? I'd go with a quando, I've had two, and the threads are fine. The tryall isn't cassette, just an overpriced quando in my opinion.

I haven't had any problems with the Try-all, but it was expesive (came part of a try-all wheelset).. I have seen a nastied quando, but I wasn't the one riding it.. so I can't compare in terms of which is better .. the try-all is nice because its a flip-flop hub (threads on drive side and non-drive side.. although I haven't used that feature yet)
