Depends on your tire and rim

I run 17-20 psi front and rear.

Thanks for the response. I'm just learning trials after 20 years of racing bmx.
Is it possible to convert one of my 20 inch race bikes into a trials bike, What would it take? Thanks again.....Jr

It would probably cost more in the end to convert a bike than to buy one. The main reason it wouldnt be much good is the geometry of your race bike would be pretty crappy for trials. best to start out buying something like a monty X-alp while you learn, then upgrade when you decide you want to keep going with it.

It is good to learn balance on any bike.

I run 17 psi front and about 12 rear, sometimes higher depending on how sharp the terrain is that im riding.

I like to run fairly high pressure because I hate bouncy, folding tires. Then again, I'm running shitty old montys. Creepy Crawlers are on their way.

I keep really low pressure, it gives better grip, and if you nneed pumping up go to the garage, and pump up there, then ride like hell when a big fat man tries to chase you away
