Hey, i bought one of these hub off ebay.
ive not ridden on it properly yet i was just wondering who uses one of these?
i went out for a little while and felt sumthing slipping, it may be my chain is mismatched with my casette, it was just worrying that the hub was slipping.
it is brand new, so i didnt think it would.

if im thinking of the correct hub, the older ones were very mushy feeling.....could that be your slip?

Stealth. I rode one and busted it, street 110mm spacing. They replaced the innerts and it sits in my garage and does nothing b/c they said if you weigh over 200 lbs you kill it trialsin. But that was the old version I guess, b/c I hear TP(haha) reconfigured them somehow. Anyway, when mine started skipping it was a loud pop everytime I pedal kicked, and then it got mushy and I rode it home and pulled it apart b/c I knew it was fucked and 5000000 pieces fell out. Hope you didn't get screwed on the ebay purchase, fine hub- not proven trials tho.

none of the true precisions have ever been mushy. the silent clutch hubs are mushy, i have never seen a stealth act that way.
chances are its something in your drivetrain. if your stealth skips then something is horribly wrong with it and it wouldnt be working but they would fix it for you.

i think it may be my chain slipping as the hub is brand new,
the thing i could think of is i may have a 8spd chain on a 9spd casette. plus i need to take a few links out

that's exactly how mine behaved before it broke, I thought it was the chain too.
