I have a Brisa B20, and i only got it this year. I REALLY want to buy a levelboss off a friend, but I need to sell my current bike (Brisa B20) to get it.
Anyone interested, or know of anyone interested??? If so, post. Or just post anyway.

having ridden one, the b20s aren't bad as far as short mods go, even if they do crack eventually. Their major geometry problems are with their stocks, the mods go alright.

You said it tomac, they crack alright. I have a very very minor crack on my left chainstay, barely visible, and probably should get it fixed. Oh yeah, and thanks for putting the word out rush, its appreciated :)

- Joel

Spec is as follows:
Frame: Brisa B20, (crack in left chainstay)
Fork: Brisa
Rims: I think they are Alex, but the front one has Brisa written on it...
Headset: I have no idea
Stem: Brisa Elite
Bars: Echo
Tyres: Try-all
Front hub: Shimano Deore
Rear hub(fixed) : Suzi (I think it is Japanese or something)
Front brake: Shimano Deore
Rear brake: Shimano Deore
Levers: Avid Speed Dial 5
BB: Shimano
Cranks: Monty
Front freewheel: ACS Claw
Chain: Sachs PC 49 I think
Will get pics soon hopefully, I don't have a digital camera. I will get mum to borrow one from work or something :)
I think you might find it difficult to sell a cracked frame dude. Have you thought about sending it to Jon Weaving at Gripsport for repair? He is really reasonable with prices and shipping. Check it out, but then again it may be hard to sell a repaired frame too. Just a thought. :)

Yeah, I have thought about it, but I am still unsure. Thanks for the advice anyway rush :)

That sounds pretty tempting, tomac. I will give it some thought, get back to you ASAP :)

no worries - I might ride the frame till it dies...since watching all this Benito rubbish I've been wanting a mod to screw around on. This bike collecting is getting out of hand. I like it like that.

Ah, the good old number of bikes theory....although you will never have the "correct" number of bikes with it, its a good theory...

 I've taken it on as my own. I am seriously limited in where I can live now.

Do you get bike boxes from post offices, i have never done this kind of thing before...
Donkay

no, you can get Bike Boxes at ANY Bike stores for free, they even ask you "hey mate, you want to have a couple more for fun?"
Posting a bike is quite interesting, i made my shape into a screwed up Triangle shape, just had to make it small as possible, keep that in mind :p so the post office can't measure it well

yeah I just went to a bike shop, for a mod you should be able to use a small one from a kids or bmx bike. Call them first to make sure they aren't cunts who want to charge you for it. Some will. Mostly roadie shops.
you know what's interesting? Getting 1 bike, 1 set of tools/helmet/shoes, your clothes and 1 unbuilt frame into a cardboard bike box, exactly on 20kg (I mean exactly, using my bathroom scales, the airport scale showed 20.000kg, the staff were very impressed), THEN hauling it through the suburban train system to the Paris airport at peak hour on a friday night without the box falling apart. I was so relieved to leave that box at Sydney airport.
I have a friend who goes down to adelaide sometimes, perhaps I could ask her to take it onboard aeroplane if (a) I buy your bike and (b) I'm nice to her.

Kyle, my friend will be in Adelaide on the Anzac day weekend (23, 24, 25 April) and is happy to pick up anything. Let me know yay or nay so I can start considering money. Bike will be going on a plane so should still be boxed, but at least there's no shipping !
PS got any pics of this thing?

That sounds fine. I will try and organise a bike box this weekend, and cram it in there. Will anything need to be taken off? (Bars/wheels/etc).
I will email you some pics if i can get them, and my address and contact details.

wheels will need to be taken off, you should take the stem off the steerer, and put the headset cap back on top of the steerer.
pics would be great, if you could email me (tomacropod at gmail dot com) some pics and (bank) details. My friend will be staying in Ferryden Park but has no transport around - how far are you from there?

I have never heard of Ferryden Park. I just realised I will be in Portland, Victoria that weekend. It has some really scary looking rocks down there that i will be giving a shot. Maybe I could ask a friend to leave it with them? I have no idea. Any ideas on how to do this??

I'll pay the shipping - it shouldn't be much.

It shouldnt cost heeps, i once sent a giant atx1 with monster T's (very, very heavy) to horn island, between queensland and png for $50-60 air freight, so SA to Canberra should be much less.

thanks heaps for that tomac, i was wondering how i would get it to ferryden park...
You will need my personal details right? I will email them to you.
Be aware, the bike has no pedals, if you did not know already.
