figured I'd post some pics, used some super fine steel wool. It needs to be buffed again after a week riding on it.

Isn't steel wool a horrible idea to use to polish? When I polished my rims and bar I used a polishing wheel and some chalk looking stuff to help out. Its hard to tell with those pics.

The fine steel wool, like 000 or 0000 grade is fine enough to polish rather than scour, and it's a good idea since there's that layer of clear coat that has to come off, and then the brushed alu finish that has to get smoothed out. But it's gonna be super tedious having to re buff it that often, aluminum oxidizes real quick.

ok,sorry about that...getting tired of frames w i t h o u t any paint job
yea but if its painted not everyone will like it , maybe some will hate it , you must be quite lucky probably to hit a design of paint so everyone loves it .. if its grey as the XTP everyone accepts it .. and paint fades off when you scratch it ..

It took a few pints on my front porch on a rainy day. I need to get some mothers polish to get it lookin good. I wasnt trying to make it a coust! I just didnt like the finish it had. Thats a good looking PIMP koxx.

Who let you out of the play pen?
Try polishing your bare aluminium frame with mercury paste. Works really well! Well, maybe tryit on your friends' frame first...hehe
