So in two minuets you have to up the 6.5 foot rock from the super bumpy run up. then sidehop up the 5 foot wall. then do another huge sidehop. as well as everything in between. and this has to be done in two minutes...wee

Thats naaasty. But as long as you can use bashie and pedal to hoist yourself up those walls it'd be easy!

I like the 25 foot drop if you miss on that top sidehop. That section is just ridiculous. I think the biu sections definitly take it bashguard or not for sheer crazyness. that 1st sidehop looks like its head high at least.

i wish ppl would put out video of the biu round in spain. like you have no idea how fuckni crazy those sections were. BIU i think definitely rules for 20" riding, I'd show youa picture of a 26" section but it would be some garbage with tape around it compared to those lausanne sections...

Canadian biu delegate is robin, for the states i'm not sure. it may again be robin..

who says you have to go up it? i see no proff suggesting that the section requires you to go up anythign. but still, that is some crazy shit i wouldnt even touch with a bike.

BIU Delegate USA- Stephen Morgan San Leandro, CA snd2125@attbi.com

When we asked Canada to attend the US BIU round in '97 Richard Belser was delegate but didn't have the time, so we hunted down his recommendation, Robin Coope, got him approved and he has been Canadian Delegate ever since as far as I know.

And yeah, that section goes up and is not that crazy compared to spainish and japanese BIU sections I've seen. And there was the "death section" in Tahoe...anyone remember the culvert section?

would I be wrong in observing that BIU sections leave more choice to the rider as to which route is best?
UCI seems to have a set path were biu sections are wider and gives the riders more freedom... am I wrong?
