i cant believe that frames are costing more than computers.

When I'm full size I will look at one. But dam its expensive. Would rather have a 1100 levelboxx.

I'd give one a go if I had the cash I think.

I'm definitly going to snag up one of those as soon as I pay off some of these bills. I'm only 6' but I'm really lanky limbed, and my knees hit my stem rather easily, so I think that frame will be PERFECT for me....atleast, when I spend a G on it, it better, LOL!

oicdn, try a real frame as opposed to your megamo first.

The vinco would be a total waste on that dude...oh well...

I would have been all about the Vinco, but then I realized I want an 80 MM stem, long fork and a regular riser bar on my zebdi. I am not euro trials rider nor do I plan on fronting to be one.

Elan

i plan on fronting as long as my human knees allow me to.

no doubt the frame looks awesome but I dont think it would be that fun a ride. You'd be spending most of your time on balance and control. I love everything about it except the geometry, too radical for me.

Elan
08-31-2004, 10:57 PM
if i was tall, this would be the only frame 4 me.... but im not tall. compared to vinco anyways.

I will buy one when I have moneys.

that is fuckin ridiculous...spend the money on something custom!! not some overrated brand name.

I'm happier with Vinco's previous bike. That thing is a little over board.

there were two of them at nopogo days...not particularly tall riders...6 foot and maybe 6 foot 1?

http://www.observedtrials.net/otn/vinco.jpg

anyway both were running this spec...I'd be interested to try one...but of course all French bikes have the brakes on the wrong side...I just can't co-ordinate that shit...been riding too long

If both bikes were running the specs in that pic...you should have tried one of those, because the brakes are normal..Unless you've been running moto style(left=rear, and roght =front) for a long time, in which case I'd say I'm an idiot:)

He's an Australian, we run our brakes the correct way round, that is, rear brake on the left.

You'd think that because of the bottom bracket height differences...-8cm BB on the t-pro, then +8cm? Hmm..don't mind me, its 6:57am

I know, why do you keep saying that?? I said"I'm happier with his previous bike" the one he was riding before!!

I don't know what ever gave you the idea I thought that as I never did.

BTW- the lower BB feals really nice compared to the higher BB bikes I have ridden like the BT, Levelboss and pure. Suits me well.

Oh, I'm sorry. You said "I am happy with the one he was riding before" , and since you ride a T-pro; which he never touched, it is a bit confusing. So you were happy with looking at his last bike in pictures? :hsugh:

I have one of them on my computer right now, at the world champs in switzerland. Do you need a link or can you find it yourself?

If you mean Lugano - that wasn't a T-pro. It was a Woodman. Before that he was on koxx, Vario, heavy tools. So there is definately no t-pro.

from the nopogo vids of him. Even he looks slightly uncomfortable at times trying to ride it. Like its a little too big. I'm 5'10'' and could barely ride a lb 1100, no way I'd try this thing out.

I think if we put mod wheels on it and a banana seat it'd make a bad ass low rider though.

shiramizu, you gonna be trying one of these out? Youve had your coust for about 4 months now. Bout time for a new frame :)

watch the vinco vid in this thread (http://www.observedtrials.net/vb/showthread.php?t=6781&highlight=vinco)and tell me thats not a t-pro he's on.
Another short vid of him practicing on a picnic table comes to mind. The article said he was with woodman.

Thanks Bloudhound for supporting me here.

Andrew- stop with the role eyes everyone knows I am not that experienced or knowledgeable but it seems to me that your trying to make me look bad. I have seen Vinco on the bike and I thought that was his bike before this one so I just made a comment based on that.

:dunno: kevin just said vinco had nothing to do with the making of the t-pro, I'd never seen the vids before but that certainly looks asthetically like the woodman; can't really tell w/o pictures if its the same geo as production model.

Kevin didn't you break one of your 2 cousses anyway? That means he has changed frames in the last 4 months.

Kevin, how about running the stem backwards?

Chris

the vinco is amazing I had the chance to ride it a little bit today. It's perfect on the backwheel.. I was really impressed. It doesn't feel that long, I mean you don't really notice the 1150mm wheelbase. But the only thing you really have to get used to, is the high bb. It's a very strange feeling to have your feet so high. It's almost like climbing a horse when you want to ride it :D I think it will be perfect for backwheel stuff, sidehops and all other techniques. The only thing I would worry about is how it handles when you're doing "front wheel touches the wall" moves :) the front end is pretty high with the mod stem. Pretty much like the setup I had on my xtp until yesterday. It's the Monty stem Kenny Belaey is riding. Actually it doesn't feel uncomfortable, but in combination with the high bb it might be a bit hard to do touch ups.. I don't know. I think you really have to test it for a longer period, to be sure if this frame suits you. The fact that will matter in the end is definately the high bb, you really have to try it out, it's pretty weird.
I'd really like to ride this frame for a longer time, I was pretty impressed by the short test ride.
