Hubs?????

hi ,

I will buy a dx-32 rim but i nead a hub but i d'ont have enough money for a very good hubs.

A guy is selling to me a SHIMANO DEORE hub an other a SHIMANO FH-m375

the 2 guy are selling their hubs 20 $

wich one I should buy????

never heard of, or can find any details on, a shimano fh m375. The code would suggest that it's an alivio hub though, in which case the deore is better. Still not all that good for trials, but at least it's a 9 speed freehub which is replaceable with the higher end shimano freehubs when (not if) it dies. The last shimano hub used by anyone in canberra was a desparate short-term spare for a one-day demo. It didn't last the day.

the freehubs will last longer if you keep your axle straight though. Of course it's hard to keep it straight, just replace it when it becomes bent.

as far as budget trials hubs go, hope XC, GT/hadley (?) are probably your best bet.
