I know nothing about the raven 5.0, but I know that michelin tires run small... at least as far as I have seen.

If its less than 74mm then you should be fine. 5.0 with a Michellin Comp24.1 2.5inch on a 34mm rim has a decent amount of clearance.

Would you be grinding this rear try-all? My friend had one and said the grinds didn't last at all because of the soft metal. But if you dont grind all will be good.

I have a 5.0 and I'm running an Alex DX32 rear rim with a Maxxis Highroller 2.5 right now. i have some clearance, but not much. I'm thinking that a Try-all 47mm rear rim wouldn't fit with a wide tire too.

I run a dx32 with a Maxxis Minion 2.7 and that used to rub on the chainstays right by the BB. That thing is massive when its not on a small rim like the dx32. I also have a 2.7 Intense DH tube that probably weighs about 2 pounds.
