To the heartlanders -
I'm gonna be checking out grad schools in a couple weeks, flying into NYC, driving all over the place (PA, MI, IN, IL), ending up in chicago. I'll be starting my drive on sep. 3rd, ending on the 11th. Once I get actual dates nailed down, I'll post again, but would anybody wanna ride at U of M, Purdue, U of Illinois - Urbana, Northwestern? I'm gauging riding partners as to whether or not it'd be worth bringing my bike (as a hectic visit schedule would probably allow like an hour or two each day at the most).

Even if you can't find riders to hook up with (which should be rare in the cases of those schools and locations)....Purdue and Urbana-Champaign are RIDICULOUS for riding...it would be worth it to just roll around those two campuses, you'll definitely find a ton of good stuff.
While you're at the Urbana campus, check out the 9'6" gap that we iced a few years back...I think it's right outside a library or student center.

Quite a lot of nice stuff on the lake-side of Northwestern too..
