Albuquerque

I will be in Albuquerque the week before the NATS event in Colorado Springs. Are there any riders in Albuquerque who would be up for a ride?

i have never ever heard of another rider in new mexico. ever... just go to old town and get some good food., then go back to your air conditioned hotel and wait for hte poop. and then save your energy for NATS.

The riding situation in NM sounds as bad as the climbing. Years ago I went there to visit family and brought some climbing gear, but had no luck finding any climbers.


I guess I will just take Elan's advice and save my energy for the NATS event.

Not too sure about the Albuquerque scene, but Santa Fe N.M is an awesome place to ride. I was there a few years ago and there's even a completely open free concrete skatepark you can hit up, it has a nice bowl(almost vert), and a ton of nice concrete grind ledges and rails and stuff, plenty of stuff to trials ride on all over the place, not just this park. i actually think it's one of the coolest places I've ever been.

There are some riders in Socorro, NM about 1 hr south of Albuqueerque. I think they go to NM Tech there in town. One is a demo rider and kicks ass, another is new but does big moves with ease. Maybe you can find them? Just ask at the LBS, only one in town, they'll know who- the younger rider works/ed there.
