i havent been on a bike since around 3 years ago, and after riding 4 hours in hartford sat. night im still pretty hurt. does it get better?

i've been using my hands for about the same 3 year period working on cars at the shop and home/free time.

hahaha.....that was a freaking good ride....

ummm, yea, i always ride a little bit, lightly when my wrists are sore, and unfortunatly i dont remeber how your bars are swept, but you can play around w/ your bar angle and brake lever angle if it persists...

Sometimes grips make a difference, but usually not for most people. I had ODI lockons, which are kinda tought/hard, so I switch to some Pedros or WTBs which I found and my wrists felt a little better. Just a suggestion, prob wont make a difference. I knwo Monty makes like a soft foam grip or something

i ended up tilting my whole bar forward a little bit, but havent played with the brake lever angles, ill ride around a little today and get a better feel for the changes

I remember clearly how sore my index fingers were for weeks on end when I started using the brakes with 'bad intentions' when I just began trials. That problem went away as my brakes were upgraded; though only to be replaced by sore wrists and what I imagined was 3rd degree carpal tunnel syndrome, sore ankles, and possibly a brain tumor from watching too many pro-level vids.

I'm sure you'll be fine after a short rest.
I worked on cars too! (my avatar is one of my creations)
