holy batman.. Cesar wins again! Benito ruled everything for a pretty long time. So I didn't really expect that

Nah Benito didn really rule that much. A few comps here and there. Not to take anything away from him because hes an amazing rider but cesar had a freshly broken ankle last year and still managed 2nd. Cesar looked much better than benito at the comp. also cesar has ot pi as one minder to go through the sections and then his other minder enric gibert. you cant' beat that entourage...

yea I thought he ruled, because of the two world titles last year and the spanish championship he won this season..and there was a lot of video footage from Benito that impressed me a lot. But it seems that Canas's injury was indeed more serious than I thought.
It's still pretty impressive that Cesar won that clearly - have a look at the points --> 30 Cesar, 43 Benito, 52 Comas.

Just curious, how did you guys go there? Like do you need to do a qualifying comp or something?

You don't need to qualify. I believe Dylan, Matt and Dave are doing most if not all of the rounds over there? Up until Japan or something? I'm not really sure. A bunch of other guys will be joining them for just Japan such as John Webster and Justin Lee and what not.

What's the difference between master and elite? Which is harder?

master is stock, elite is mod, both are top classes

So you can just register, and fly over?Yes. However I don't believe they do classes like you will typically find here. Mod is age groups and then elite is the top and then stock only has 2 or 3 classes??? I'm not really positive on this. I believe the guys from Canada entered the easiest class they could go in for stock and got whupped. They are all North American pro riders. Unless you are a fairly serious North American Pro rider and you don't mind being completely embarassed I don't think these are the comps for you.

Again I'm not postitive on this. If somone else wants to explain it better please do. You may have to be a pro level rider or something here to be considered but none of these guys did any special comp or had to place so well to go. So I assume its more or less open.

Check with your BIU US delegate on how to go...It comes down to having the time and the money. But for the majority of rounds there is billetting, camping available to you as a competitior, minder and or coach.

Elite and Master are the highest categories of stock and mod respectively, in order to compete in those levels you must win in expert and senior first. The category our guys(Canada) are in is one of the harder more competitive ones you can do, next to Elite and Master of course. But those two are the best of the best categories.

Expert would be where all North American Pro's would go, same with Senior for mod.

If that makes any sense?
