Norco Team Trials has paper thin tubes that are reeeeally flexy. I've seen one crumple at the head tube junction also. Just FYI...

any suggestions for a different frame?

If you're dead set on steel Desalvo is really nice... and he should be able to make the more compact geometry of his previous trials frame if that suits you better as well.

I can't think of too many other steel options for trials.. maybe the Planet X Pitbull... 7 pounds worth of frame... maybe aluminum will do you fine?

Yeah.......just because it's ALuminum doesn't mean it'll crumple...99% of the people riding have AL frames...

But if you want styeel, and have the dough, go Desalvo.....

ive got a norco tt and i love it. it rides much nicer then my old zebdi, but be warned its not as trialsy, its not quit as stable on the back tire, but it does manual much easier, and i find it easier to do larg bunny hops.
