Hot, humid weather greeted the assembled masses this Sunday at the Final Summer trials at Fontana's Southridge PArk. 14 riders gathered to tackle the Zak Maeda-designed sections.

A big thanks to Nathan Heronen of the PATH Bike Shop in Tustin. Nathan organizes a Tuesday night Urban Assault ride...check 'em out. A thanks also to BT.com for the donation of a Hans Rey DVD for a drawing at the awards ceremony. Special thanks to Zak for sections, Maribel & Christina for checking, and to the riders for enduring the humidity.

It's a real event, with awards and marked courses. Just like usual.

Hey you are in San Diego? My sister lives there and I think I will be going down there alot..I will prolly be bringing my bike alot so maybe we could get a group ride or something?

I only finished after you because of a time penalty. That was because I was HELPING take down the sections, and I got penalized!
