Grand Rapids, it's in the north eastern region of the state. However I would drive just about anywhere to ride.

Ah, I got ya. I was thinking you might have been in MN around the Red Wing / Minneapolis area.

Welcome to the sport. If you know of any other riders out there, not yet on this site, get them here. I'm trying to locate more riders from MN...

Yo trialsaddict, I too live in the tundra. I've posted on your threads on the MORC forums under fisherbikefreak. I'm game for any rides. Next month I'm buying a new bike. It will be much more trials friendly than my current POS Fisher. Catch ya on the flip.

Awesome. We'll have to catch up sometime soon. I'm in MN now. PM when you get around to it. Either here or on MORC.

Talk to you soon,

TA

Anyone remember me from the WI comp? I'm assuming we're talking about Baraboo here.

Yup, but I wasn't there...saw the pictures though. I'll be attending this year for sure, that's if there is a comp.

In the pictures, which rider are you?

Ah, those pictures were taken sunday. I was only there for saturday, due to the fact that I had some ass kicking to do back in WI rapids on the BMX track. I rode sport mod.

Coolio. How far from Minneapolis are you? You'll have to join us on some rides either there or around Red Wing this year.

Wow I didnt know there was riders in my old area (used to live in St. Cloud, now Im in California). Too bad I didnt ride when I lived up there. Did anyone go to the Duluth moto world round? I did the year 2002 I believe..was fun.

Tanner, I was riding the White Echo Urban with the king parts.

Addict, I'm the second one in from left on the link for the Baraboo pics(first pic).

I used to ride St. Cloud doing mostly xc stuff (around '96-'00). Then slowly started picking up the trials thing from then on. I have yet to attend the moto world in Duluth however, everyone I've spoken with says it is definitly a sight to see.

Yeah I was up there for that last year. I think they might be having it every year now, as opposed to every other year as before. Here's the site: World Round USA (http://worldroundusa.com/)

I would recommend checking the event out if you ever get the chance. They do some crazy stuff and last year I heard the top riders were asking for harder sections! If you have an offroad motorcycle bring that too because they let you drive them around to get to the different spectator spots.

Dave, nice to see you on this site. Hopefully we can ride sometime this summer.

MN rules, except for the -20 degree temps. I don't mind the snow thing at all. Although, after a few months it sure would be nice to get on the bike again.

Might be time for a vacation/roadtrip down south somewhere...

Trialsaddict

Im already planning one... with the intent on making it to Jeff's comp later this spring. If not then, atleast soon to ride anyways.

If I road trip it, anyone is welcome to join...can carry up to 4, bikes and all. Otherwise, flying is cheap too.

Trialsaddict
01-30-2005, 01:18 PM
Woops, sorry. Jeff, aka "Edge" from TX. A comp has been in the works, prior to me moving back up here. He's still working things out, but should know more soon. I'll keep ya posted, otherwise watch the South forum.
