Hey all, my family is going on this big old trip around the midwest and we'll be in St. Louis for awhile and of course my bike is coming. Where are some good places to ride that I could check out?
I don't know how much time I'll actually have but I figure I'd give it a shot!
Thanks in advance

yeah, so i live like an hour from STL... here is a short list of things to ride, and im sure there are more, but im not really a local and i havnt explored the whole joint yet. at the arch, right in front of the missippi river there is a huge wall ride that if you are good at wall riding will keep you entertained all day long. im not kidding, this thing is like monolithic. you cant miss it, just tool on down to the arch and then go down the huge steps toward the river and turn left. in the area immediately around the arch there are tons of buildings with stone walls and what not to gap and drop from, just watch it on baseball game days because the security can get intense. later after that, head towards the edward jones dome and check out the saw tooth shaped loading docks that face the entrance. hm... all of this stuff is right in the same area. oh yeah, lacledes landing is right next to the arch to the north. tool around there and find the old closed down planet hollywood location. in front of that there are some big limestone blocks that are fun to hone sidehop and bunnyhop skills on. north of this area is an old industrial area with some crazy loading docks... on and on and on. forest park also affords some awesome riding opportunities. oh hold on, to ride the arch and river front area you can either pay to park in the myriad garages, or you can ask some people to tell you how to get to upper limits climbing gym (directly west of union station mall) and park for free. dude there is tons are stuff... i dont know if its too late or not but if you havnt made the trip yet holla and maybe we can meet up and ride. im always down. email me at showpro@siu.edu. aim sn is showproXL.
