Possible Middletown, MD Ride

Anyone up for another attempt (either the 19th or 20th) at riding the rocks at the Middletown overlook or the watershed?

bruce and I are thinking of riding Lock 12 which is very similar to conowingo dam. However, we are riding saturday and sunday so maybe we can do both. For some reason I had this crazy idea or going to Davis, WV.

I'm definitely up for it. I haven't really ridden since the last one...well, I rode once, but my brake pads ate themselves so it doesn't count. I have no internet access after I leave work on Friday at noon, so if anyone would be so courteous to call...301.580.0688 and let me know the ride status. Ben, I have your cell, so if I don't hear from anyone by Saturday, you'll be getting a call.

Gary gave me your number to get in touch with you to ride Double rock again, but I lost the damn piece of paper. We're definitely going to ride some natural somwhere this weekend, at least one day, and maybe two. We'll get into something, call Gary to find out an update.

Rock State Park is only 20 min from lock 12 and 45min-1hr north of lock 12 is Rocky Ridge. If you go north about another 8 hours you will reach Mt Snow, but none of us are planning on driving all the way up there.

Well, considering I will be driving from Pittsburgh to Chambersburg (~3 hrs) I'm going to try and ride somewhere closer... Like the Middletown overlook... that is if it doesn't rain.... Well see...

Looks just a hair past 3 hours on mapquest to big Baltimore. I'll try to leave around 8:30 or 9, I don't know how gay traffic is in this state but I'll be finding out :joshers: . Might have to head back by ~3 or so, need to be back in time to see my brother.
