I just got this thing this weekend for a great deal. Just thought I'd share it. I'm not a downhiller (yet), but I do enjoy going balls-fast down a mountain so I plan on giving it as much of a workout as I can. Clearly though I'm not near crazy/skilled enough to come close to stretching this things' legs. Enjoy.

Oh you can't see them in the picts, but the valve caps are the yellow smiley faces, I think they just set the whole bike off.
EDIT: Bigger versions of these picts available here: http://ridebikes.servebeer.com/Images/Eliminator/

Ok hold on to your sphincters... I got it for $770. Complicated deal involving buying a kayak and trading it to him for the bike. Good call Megamowest, he said he put over $5k into it. Just about everything is top end. It's a dangerous bike though.... just one hour of hitting stair gaps and all of a sudden jumping off a house seems to be a perfectly reasonable thing to do. Oh and he only rode it once...

Yeah...did the dude like get paralyzed by falling over when he first sat on it? Cause it looks mint.......SIIIICK bike though.....I want one. Well, atleast you can have the peace of mind that nothing on your bike will fail, LOL!

good deal. too bad about that bb height being through the roof. i thought the azonic frames would always be a million times better if they cornered better but they have such a high set up feel to rail stuff. anyhoot- awesome bike though, you got a really great deal it sounds. enjoy that beast!

that's a good deal, looks pretty nice. watch out for the fork seals, they WILL constantly leak.

isnt it nice that I built up my coust for less than that fork costs? the components for the coust are coming thursday! I am so excited! I cant wait its been waaaay too long for the frame to be sitting here. Thats a sweet bike, i'll show you a shot of my DH/FR/4X beast (sort of) in a second. I am building it up with new components so it should be pretty sweeeet soon.

the azonics have really high bb's even for a dh bike. butt loads of clearence but i dont like how it effects the cornering ability of the frame. this is coming from a racer's point of view also. for most people, its never even close to an issue.

if the BB seems to high, you're not hitting those corners fast enough, BB is a nice height when the suspension is half compressed from the speed you take into them berms.
I know nothing or care to about DH, across three bikes I don't actually own any suspension so ignore me.

? I don't know too much about DH or DH parts, so what's the birth defect so I'll know what to expect when it happens?

Aight I'll keep an eye on the seals, I saw someone else mentioned that. Tomorrow hopefully I'll be changing out the springs, the former owner has a pair of X-firms in it. Nice roof drop, did a little trials-style action there. I'm having trouble with that too, I'm used to dropping down to absorb landing shock so I keep doing that only to find a seat in my way. Doh!
Little Android Man
06-11-2004, 09:30 PM
your seat is pretty high..i dont know if thats good for DH or not, but when i free rode i chopped my seat tube so the seat sat right on top of the seat mast. that way i could absorb stuff and get over it real easy

Eh, doesn't matter. That bike is done solded right now

that bike is tight as hell. tobad in DH you NEED to have a expensive as hell bike to be good. Cant go down the hill in some XC thing, you would get killed.
