I bent an older set of Turbines a couple years back and was going to warranty them.. trying to decide if I shouldn't upgrade to the North Shore instead for my trials bike. Are the turbines still pretty flexy (i'm guessing yours are newer than my old ass ones)?
I like the idea of the replaceable spider tabs on the NS's just in case.

they feel really stiff compared to my truvativs or my bontragers (gay) on my ellsworth... i really like them and they were really cheap. i havent noticed any difference between them and say..middleburns, try-alls..the like, in stiffness at least.

Well, the gallery is currently down, as I have discussed on at least 3 occasions I can remember. If I can't figure out how to fix it I'll have a new one in its place by the weekend.

on the subject of cameras, hopefully someone like matt and other experienced photographers can help me. i'm currently shooting with a Sony DSC-S70, nothing extremely fancy but not the worst. I'm embarressed to ask with this camera, but what exaclty is EV? I can adjust it like -0.3 to 2.0 and such, it seems to only ad light or darken the image. In addition, is there a way decrease the time it takes for the camera to record the image, so i can take rapid shots? sorry, i'm kinda a noob with photography

welp, since you're familiar with dpreview.com, i'll point you here:

Basically EV is just telling you where your exposure will be in comparison to what your light meter says is the optimal setting (EV + 0 would be a "perfect" exposure). You can adjust your EV in many of the automatic modes because they will allow you to choose whether you want the scene to be a bit more or less exposed. Often times you can't in the manual modes because to adjust where the EV is, you would just choose your ISO, aperture, or shutter speed.

So, in your automatic modes the EV should always be right on or very close to 0 unless you adjust it.

For quick resizing of your pictures, use XP's PowerTools Image Resizer. Search for it on www.windows.com (http://www.windows.com)

Or, just keep the aspect ratio if you are using photoshop.

I'm hoping to have the photo gallery completed by Father's day at midnight, that will also resize images automatically, it will create a thumbnail, medium sized picture, and an unresized picture.
