Speaking of taps, I finally got high taps down less than a month ago, and my ups to rear are now much higher than anything I could have hoped for "pre taps." It has opened up so many more possibilities for me...anyway, as I have only been doing them daily for a few weeks when will I break my forks? Is this assured of happening?

i've been tapping for over a month or two and my fork has been fine. if you do it right i don't think it should affect the fork tooo much? will update once i wach this vid

slaps will ruin your forks. no way around it- well the px fork i guess... but slaps when done right are still super stressful on your fork/headtube/headset/bars.

vincent is actually not the best at slaps. he is the first to admit that. he says he needs much work on them. the coustelliers have slaps dialed. vince has his strong points over them too though i think. he was also saying he doesnt get pinch flats at home. he has had like 6 or more here i think. go figure. travel half way around the world and stuff starts to happen that never did before.

im glad to see tra thinks this vid is just average :P hahaha

there may be another one tomorrow or so. i have a lot of footage and no time to edit. i havent spent much time editing these clips. i just wanted them to be simple and get them out to the masses. Thanks again peoples!

Very nice vid. Would have been nice to see less fisheye as it does distort a lot of things. Do you guys get kicked out of campus for disobeying that sign you showed in the beginning? I got asked to leave from a local golf course which had a pile of rocks in the parking lot. Turns out I was "damaging" their image.

The point in tapping are to smack the front wheel in the wall so you get thrown forward, as you get thrown forward the front wheel will roll up the wall and so you get extreme height . So smacking into wall at 15mph i think would have "some" stress on the fork =P hehehe .

those rocks that vincent was "easily" slapping to rear were about 5 ft but with that fisheye lens (i know it's already been said) it totally distorts it and makes it look about 2 ft high.... but trust me the shit he was slapping was HUGE. Graham and Ed gildea were trying to hook what vincent was getting to rear with a one pedal. he just floats up the rocks. and TRA, that one that he hooked was probably over 6 ft high and he had to do it with half pedal with his back wheel starting on a curb thing. video does NO justice to anything he was doing. oh and the hook was nuts.

TRA- no one in the world could ever even try to tap up to that rock. It is over 6 feet high, with less than a half pedal to get to it. As robbie stated his rear wheel started on top of a ledge, he pedaled down the ledge then up to the hook. Everything looks really small in the vid, which is a shame as the taps are shoulder height... and chris, just stop being a fag I'm not going to bite.
