Why does it seem like the new posts are so few and far between? I mean I work at least five days a week, but still find the time to check out the site at least once a day to find out about group rides etc..... It just seems like the trials world is so small that the posts only come once in a while. there have to be a few more people out there who are into trying to ride a little bit more. Come onguys(and girls too for that matter) lets get this summer going soon

This site is really aimed at the CO crowd, yeah I check this site out a lot, but to be frank, I get my ride info from my friends over aim or phone. Mike Umbarger is really the only trials rider I ever ride with, he and I just IM each other...

I know the site might be colorado based, but I did post this in the Northeast, USA section, or at least I think I did.I'm just trying to rally up the troops:x: :x:
I have to agree with bwagner. There is no reason this site should be "just for the colorado guys". Sure we dominate it at the moment, but I really wish these regional forums were more active, they are a GREAT way to plan group rides, and thats why they're here.

Does anybody live in the pittsburgh, or could connect me to someone in the area. Would be nice to ride with somebody else.

Some of us actually get out to ride. Unfortunately, I can really only get out to ride on weekends, which conflicts with the only two days a week I get to see my future wife. As much as I would like to get up to Baltimore to ride, I just can't justify the drive time when I have sick rocks in Frederick just 15 min from my apt.
I'd love to get back up there for one of the fun rides you and Gary are putting on, but again, time conflicts. It would take up the majority of my day.
Consider this an open invitation to come out to Frederick and ride some rocks. There are tons of them, they're just not set up in such a way that tons of people can ride at the same time. I'm going to scout out Catoctin this weekend and another place I saw in a Frederick trail guide that had pics of large boulder fields.
Hey Mike...I've got some secret material coming in this week for a secret pad compound. I'm going to try to make the mold this week, but to use the pads you'll need the original aluminum backings from the original Plazmatic pad. Vaughn or Gary might have them around. If you can score them, I'll hook you up with a set or two of pads. If for some reason you're using V's, a set of the aluminum CRV pad backings would be the ticket.

That place is the shit. It's seriously the biggest reason I miss living in Providence. I spent practically every night after work at L.W. either riding my trials bike, my mountain bike, or more often than not, working one of the very many boulder problems.
