Decked out to the max, only thing you could have done better is ISIS. I wouldn't want to see the price tag though'
Congrats

That is nice, though i'm not a fan of having two red tires. I see you also included the Cous set up with 105/15 stem. You are missing a couple of spacers though.

Let's say he spent about 3 grand on the bike( Chris maybe you can tell us excactly how much) it is still not that bad.
You can't really spend a lot more on a trials bike and this is as good as it get's.
But you can spend twice as much on a downhill bike.
So it's expensive but it depends how you look at it.
you can spend twice as much on a fork for a DH bike...ahaha...you can spend 3 times as much for a fork on a DH bike.... you can spend 10 times as much for a fork on a MX bike.

I don't know exactly how much I spent for this bike.. but it was really a lot during the last years. Maybe 2000-3000 euros.. I don't know.
But I didn't pay 1000 for the frame. I would never spent so much money for a frame. I got it cheaper - 600, Marco Hösel, you might know him, rides for Koxx, and he got it for a test ride, only a few days. But he's more into bunny hops..than touch hops, long wheelbase etc. So he's riding the short xtp now (1040mm). I got the long one :) No dents, big scratches etc. .. it just looks like a new frame, and I got it for a very nice price.
I used to buy lots of new parts to find the perfect setup, especially bar/stem combo and tyres. But I think my bike is pretty close to perfect now. Pedals are to be replaced by Tioga platforms and I have to relace my rear rim.

When you think about it. Trials bikes are fucking expensive. Think about it.. For the price of an xtp(a bike with no suspension or any other really fancy parts and only a few gears) you can get a pretty good full suspension bike with lots of gears and oil dampened suspension, and other stuff that costs money to manufacture. Granted. The xtp is arguably the best trials bike you can get. But if you look objectively at it it's not really all that fancy compared to a full suspension bike. It's all about supply and demand. If trials was as popular as Xc trials bikes would be much cheaper.
And then you look at road bikes, and your ideas of expensive are obliterated.

do you enjoy that bar/stem setup? looks tops.
hey what is that 42mm koxx rim like?
staying true? i wouldnt mind one of those rims, but all i have heard about the 47mm ones are bad but this 42 mm loooks better
please write what you think about it, and is it double or single wall?

the bar/stem combo is perfect for me, feels great on the xtp. At first I tried the tryall bar with two different stems.. but I didn't like the flex.. so I switched to the echo bar, which feels a lot stiffer.
@pav
the 42mm rim is ok so far, depends on how you lace it, good spoke tension etc. My rearwheel is not really stiff, I have to relace it, get a higher spoke tension, different spokes...
The koxx rear rims are all double wall, but no eyelets, If you want something stronger and higher quality, get a DX32.

no, that's completely wrong. good full suspension bikes are around 2 thousand, pretty much twice the price of the XTP. top of the line fully's (comparing to a top of the line xtp) are somwhere near 4k for frame and shock only (intense, foes etc).
NICE ASS FUCKING BIKE   :wuteva:

Im liking everything but the front blue rim tape, and that chris king sticker, without those two elements it would be alot more minimalist and alot nicer in my opnion, still lovely though anyway, very nice.

little update: I put a grind on the front rim and removed the stickers. Now my bike has a nice, clean look, I love it.

I put my old whitehurst carbon booster on the bike. Rear brake is perfect now. And new pedals finally. Awesome grip.
I got a new 47mm tryall rim and get it laced next week, and I will use a white rim tape, to get a nicer color for the holes
