this is to the guys who are going to croatia, do any of you have bleed kits for maguras? i had to take off my vees because of a new frame, and the only maguras i have are from a mod. i was gonna put on some longer housing, which i have, but i dont have any oil/syringes/tubes/fittings. can any of you bring it out there? or, do any of you have some 4 bolt-to-vvee adapters?

go to a bike shop that stocks magura shit, get a barbed fitting. Go to hardware store, get some thin pvc hose shit, like the fishtank sized stuff, go to a motorcycle shop and get some 2.5 or 5 weight motorcycle fork oil. find a syringe on the street. or chemist. there you have it, a bleed kit, and cheap. Should be like $15 total max. You only need a babed fitting for the bottom, the top you can just shove the hose in.

Yo dudes,

If you put water in your lines, make sure it is distilled! Normal water, even filtered water will contain impurities and oxy jon which will fuck up the system. Anything but mag oil will void the warren T, duh. But I use 2.5 weight Finishline shock oil and it is dope (hs33). As for Bleed kitz, you can go the the Vet and gett a huge syringe which will hook up the magura hose size and it is the bomb. However, whenever you buy mags or a bike with mags you should be supplied with a full bleed kit and two olives, or your shop is ripping you off. I've been riding maguras for 9.5 years and have ALWAYS gotten a bleed kit. Word
