Cheers for UPS and Maxxis!!

None of the LBS around here could get the Maxxis tire I wanted, so I ordered online direct from Maxxis. That was Sunday, I was simply hoping to see the tire before I head out for the weekend on Friday morning.

Thanks to the joy of UPS tracking numbers, I can see that it just got delivered at home 30 minutes ago. Durnit, now I gotta wait through the day.



Oh, and its a High Roller 2.35 single ply Super Tacky (42a). Finally replacing the VERY worn out El Gato up front.

I have been enjoying the enlightenment of the Michelin on the rear for awhile now.

Yeesh... I think I just made about the biggest change possible for a front tire. Too bad I won't really get to test it until Saturday.


My front tire (El Gato) was the original rear tire on my Chameleon. And I got the Chameleon 5 years ago. It feels like hard plastic compared to the new Maxxis. This is gonna be good.
