um, ok so ur asking for everyones first trials specific bike, yet you put all these new frames up ... ummm. oh well not really, just in the case of pure/team (they were called es3, es4 and em2 or whatever until now) .. but yeha mine was es3 so i voted "old school suunn!"

Although my first 'trials' specific was a Planet X, I did ride a short Klein in 1990 (There weren't much trials bikes around then).

I got a Crestone Peak mod bike from Cycle Works in Catonsville, MD back in...oohhhhh about 1995. It sucked, I sucked and I broke a lot of picnic tables and bricks around the UMBC campus. Old schoolers and B'More riders might recognize two Cycle Works employees...Jason Schwinnabart and Scooby. Both of whom were good friends of Jay DeJesus, of Eastern Woods Research fame...I saw a guy on the trails yesterday with an EWR E-Motion. Very cool to see that old bike.

Used Monty mod... It had a 20" rear wheel and double crown forks w/ bmx style handlebars. I think it originally had U brakes but someone had welded on v-brake mounts before I got it.

Before that I was riding a modified Specialized Hardrock, but that's not a trials specific frame...

sadly no improvements on the bike......Im waitin to get a little better before I buy new stuff. kind of a motivational thing......when I get my pedal ups and side ups more consistently I'll go for somethin new.....Kinda trashin my bike right now, but makin progress since last time we rode. My ups have definetly improved.

My first was the Planet X new Jack Flash with the bash(cheaters crutch)plate when it first came out. Loved it. Built it up for a friend who's still riding it and beating the hell out of it. He started on the SUPER PINK Ross mod. Horrible stem on that thing.
