Hey Austin people: I will be in town next Thurs (4/1) for some training and I think I'm gonna bring my bike. Right now I'm scheduled to stay through till Sunday morning, so a Saturday ride would be perfect. I could proabably also ride Thurs night.. we'll see. Is anyone up for that?

That's a good idea to split up the groups....as far as not gettin' busted in a big group and following each other from place to place. Austin people will be there both weekends I bet..... In smaller groups you can move around town faster and hit more spots....

So, I've only lived in Austin for 8 months now... but I've discovered that -50% rain or more means that it is just going to be overcast.. and that a few drops will fall somewhere in Austin... not enough to wet the ground. Someone look up the forecast for last Friday nights ride... you'll see what I mean... I think that was a 40% chance of rain night.... best thing to do is wake up Saturday and watch MOVEMENT on doppler radar (dopper actually shows rainfall intensity.... green means go... red means stop, I think). Just my two cents.

As for next month, you guys should definitely get a group and come up. I think Dustin already mentioned he was interested. CO Springs is about 10 hours from Dallas. There will be plenty of places for you to crash, including my house (if I can find one to rent)

Sorry we missed you Liquid. Ian showed up to ride the natural by Campbells hole with me.. What an awesome day. It was a little on the HOT side, but we still managed to get a couple hours in. Ian showed me some of the lines everyone was hitting last weekend so I gave them a go too.. It was a good time!

I forgot how much the Texas sun can drain the life out of you though...thanks for riding Ian. I'll have to catch up with everyone else next time.
