snow sucks. Screwed up my plans to ride last night.

boulder always has shti weather compared to FTC...right now its 51, feels like 51 and has 15 mph winds going to 23. Boulder feels like 41, and has 23-40 mph winds! aaaaaahahaahaha....yeah...
real temp here = 48
once below 50 they don't do wind chill. That temp was recorded 40 minutes ago and temp is above 50 now.

wind is currently at 30mph with 70-75mph gusts and I looked at the webcam for CU and it is pointed at the sky with a message "tilt limit".

Its feels closer to 60 without wind in downtown Denver.... but Suppose no one wants to go there. (I prefer the heat)

GOLDEN – Three semi trucks traveling on C-470 were blown over by high winds Saturday. The highway is closed in both directions at I-70, while crews work to clean up the accident. :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
One of the trucks was carrying a house. The highway closed just before 11:00 a.m. Traffic on I-70 is getting by. :rofl: :rofl:
The state patrol told the highway department that wind gusts could reach 100 miles per hour through the afternoon. :ugh: :ugh: :ugh:
The high winds have also closed Highway 93 between Boulder and Golden due to winds and icy conditions. Driving anywhere in the foothills Saturday may be unsafe for high profile vehicles. :ugh2:
A high wind warning is in effect from Denver to Fort Collins. :?

wind was no problem today.
not really. I mean it got annoying a time or two at the beginning, but I think I forgot about it about 30 minutes into the ride (or maybe it stopped blowing?)
It was a decent ride, I'll have pics up in a bit.

word. good ride, wind was definitely no biggie. it was kinda funny most of the time.. would have made for some good video to see someone balancing just fine then have to bail for no apparent reason, hehe

Well, whereas I would love to blame my absence on the wind/weather, the truth is I got a bigger hall pass for hanging out with the family yesterday. I swear, I'm going to build my own Natty course in the backyard.
