I know this forum is usually for group rides but I would hate to miss the chance of getting a frame that is local, I am looking to spend around $300-400 on a new frame if anybody has suggestions on what to buy that would be great also thanks a lot.

Its the one before they changed the drop outs. I thought that was mkIV? Fuck if i know, its black.

what are the major difference between mk2,3,4,and 5?? which ones would be regarded as bad??

2 -> 3 reduced chain stay length, fixed strength problems with BB, smaller seat tube (diameter)

3 -> 4 bigger disc tabs to hopefully allow rear disc usage, though I think it was a failure

4 -> 5 back to the bigger diameter seat tube, maybe they reduced the weight?

Those were the main differences I could think of.

Mk1 and mk2 are the dumbest looking things in the world, thats all I know...that and they broke like twigs.

super fantastic- my mk 2 is still out there in the big world of trials being ridden... mk1's broke, the two fixed that i from what i gather.

planet x's are two triangles... boring- yes, but how are they the dumbest things ever?

learn to suck it. :D how are two triangles dumb looking? if you were to say the paint schemes are stupid looking that would another thing....
