I've done some progress I'm quite happy with though...
Short and viewable:
Today: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XNRpBCppI8
Short and... totally lacks quality:
A week or so ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jhz5q8dC9C4
Long and boring, but contains some shitty natty riding:
June: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhVXNeaiQn4
Stuck at the current level, which sucks, and I can't figure out how to move on... (hence I suck, but only at the mental part - which I've always done, development so far has been decent)

Lookin good for 4 months; remember to get to the edge of what you're dropping off before going.
Don't hate man, we've all been right where you're at.

Funny thing, I can get just on the edge when doing gaps (unless I'm on a ledge or bench or something) but when dropping of stuff... No way. Just can't. Just going to have to work on it I guess. :P
Thanks for the input! Figured I could learn from having people watch the stuff. Been riding alone for a couple of weeks which sucks and hinders progression, hopefully my riding buddy will get his new bike soon... :x:

You can't say you suck when you're that good. I last one you posted was my favourite. Good rding, and I thought the editing was cool on the "Short and viewable" one.

Alright, no offense. Stop bitching!
Its so annoying when people think they'll just start trials and become a pro in a year.
Your riding looks good. Ride for fun, not what ever you're gunning for.

Haha, didn't know it was such a sensitive subject. Sorry if I offended anyone... I shouldn't have been bitching like I did.. But still... I did.. Let's see if I can still edit...
I know you don't become a pro in a couple of months, I know people who have been riding for 6+ years and are still improving like crazy. Pretty much the beauty of the sport. I guess I'll stop bitching and just go out and ride, and have fun - like I always do. Not riding to become better than anyone, just because in 2005 I watched som trials and spoke to riders and figured it would be fun. Then just didn't get a bike for another 3 years - now, I'm loving it.

Yeah that was not sucking man. Its a good thing to just ride for fun. I really want to improve fast and become a pro. Its not to much of beating people or ride compititions or look great and to show off. I just want to beat myself and thats it. To have fun and ride everyday. I think that is a great motive and that helped me. Not to care about others and more about me. Still I think that was great riding. Cool to see people do the sport

Lol I had already watched the second two vids after you commented on mine the other day :wiggle: Happy to send you that song from it if you want.
You go alright for 4 months I reckon, give it time tho and keep practicing and every now and then you have a major breakthough and learn a new move or a massive improvement on an old one. Thats the feeling I find so addictive about trials.
Keep it up dude lots of potential there I think.

jonnyyork: Found them on Myspace so it's allright. Thanks anyway! Australians are producing hella lot of good music these days... :)
MontyTrialer: Yeah, I think it's just about going out and having fun. Having fun is what keeps me motivated. That and watching my friends who have been riding for 5-6+ years...
Nah, really I ride trials just to get chicks... not working well though. Think I need to improve on my sidehops. Then it would all work out. :umno:
Now, time to go ride! Though I think CERN failed, dark as fuck outside... BLACK HOLE!
