In Vancouver B.C. Canada.

John's been riding since the days when big sidehops to back pedal were cool. Circa Dennis Goj.

Thanks for posting Juan.

cant wait for the download,... never want to take it for granted that I can catch you guys live just a couple hours away.

On that note: could anybody drop a line the next time a BIG group ride on the island or in Van is happening?

Joel whats a big group ride? The Ambleside ride was 5 of us and may be the smallest group ride I've been on this year. Picking a weekend and just showing up is usually the best. At this time of year you almost have to wait till Friday to guarantee nice weather.

Jeff and John rode the fountain entirely different from the Perv and I, and not just talent wise. We both did everything we could to stay dry. They show up and immediately drop into the deep part so their shoes and brakes are wet and just deal with it from there. That was the scary part of John's gaps.

No it doesn't. But that's my point about asking when he is riding. Watching in person is the best riding you will see without buying a plane ticket to fucking France.

2 other Victoria Riders went down to a spot that John tapped to rear a few years ago. I'm 5'5, and it was just under shoulders, I think.

Watching him do natural riding, it's amazing. I've never seen anyone with such smoothness going over rocks.
