first part made me sick , may be good technical aspect of the editing but it for sure didnt fit trials . Only worked when he was crossing the river.

sorry if it is too much, i don´t think that the effects are to much, the cuttingspeed is to fast.
but i want something different, maybe it was too fast, anyway, in the second part you can relax ;)

Hannes is a really great rider, and a cool guy.
The riding in that vid was awsome, but ruined by those effects at the start, no need! Hurt my eyes lol
Would of been great with out them :(

I think the effects were gnar. I bet if this were released by some huge dvd company, nobody would complain about the effects. Well, probably, people always have something to say, hahaha. Dug it though.

could be good if you were able to time the effects more properly, not destroying the whole move, it was like he was on ground and suddenly on top , doesnt do it for me ..

That was great! Good riding and i though some of the special effects were sweet. Kinda hurt my eyes at points though.

logoanimation with aftereffects+trapcode particular
rgb colorflashs with aftereffects an audiokeyframeassist+script
and raindrops were done with cc mercury

I'm agree, I think few people can imagine the work to do yours effects, it's not windows movie maker effetcs preset. It's a lot of hours to imagine create and finalize your production.

I dug it. Like the intro. Good footage and after playing with some of those effects myself I can appreciate the time you've put in. Gives me the shits to see this video copping more criticism than the vast majority of stuff being churned out.

i think next year a would do another video of hannes, but then more spots an not so much overediting :P
this vid was some spontaneous idea, filmed only on one day without any thinking before. so wait till next year.

Hey wanted to get my half cent in. I really liked the effects.. Vids get boring after a while.. when its just strait cuts or.. fade.. I think it was really well done and It went with the music very well.. And the fake rain gave it a really cool relaxing touch.. makes you wana ride your bike.. very good effects and riding.

I thought that the concept was good...

the riding and the actual footage was really good. The first effect was good but far far far too overused - in moderation would have been brilliant.

but the rain effect was just pure gash and made the whole thing look a bit well tacky and naff (mainly because it looks nothing like rain !!). Its a shame as the vid could have been really amazing. The intro after-effects monty logo was brilliant (I gotta learn some after-effecs stuff.)

Next time let the riding do the talking...
