you always seem to ride on one object with nothing around it at all, still nice.

Nice!
Reminds me of 1996...
That feels like a long long time ago.

hat: florida sun necessity
solitary obstacles: by-product of sparce florida terrain
x-up: silly trick and I'm sure the frenchies could tap the wall but they can't pull the x-up because their stems are too long. I tried it once with a trials stem and nearly ripped my arms out of the socket.
It's fun to do something different and I'm on a break so I try to switch it up when I can.
Different length stems make all the difference.

Nice...I've been trying to have more fun recently too, like when I started in 1995. I've focused so much on practicing like I still competed and then realized I havent competed really in 5 years. So back to old school and back to fun

Hi Lance, amazing to see you still riding man!
I started trials 13 years ago , im 30 now.
Im still learning , I have a 24 wheeled Leeson trials bike.
Trials is a big lesson in life.
I loved your sections in Evolve, was a realy good time for trials for me.
big respect!
ps
I have to be picky
I know its hard with 29 bars, but your x up isnt "clicked"! hehe

Yeah, it's not clicked. Straight is good enough for me.
I'm 31 now and am riding more and better than ever before, so it can be done. Age is not a deciding factor, IMO.
If it's fun you will do it. That's why I try to keep switching things up with the stems and stuff. I know having many different bikes isn't realistic for everyone, but stems aren't that big a deal.
Got to keep it fresh!

You still have a long time to go. Look at DMC, for example... he's 41 and pulling 900's and still pushing his limits. It's just a number.

age is not the deciding factor for trials, cartilage is :wavey:
