I understand your viewpoint, but he was a dump because he parked on the bike lane. Usually this kind of people think that they can do anything, because they have the money, and unfortunately in many cases this is true.

If it is fake, they did a very good job of making the car bob up and down.

As a car lover, it kinda annoys me to see someone ride on something like a maserati... but not enough to stop me laughing whilst watching, hehe. Besides, it sucks that so many of the world's fastest cars are owned by rich snobs who just want to be noticed... rather than by drivers.

At least he wasn't sidehopping onto someone's project car that they've poured years of time and elbow grease into.... that'd suck

Like the others said, it's fake. It's actually not fake it's called "film compositing".
The first shot is the real car.
The second shot: The chruch/street/camera shake shot is just for distraction so we think the cameraman was just shooting random stuff than noticed the trials rider.
The 3rd shot is the composite shot. The car is a cut out. The street-shot is the base layer and it has been camera-tracked so the compsited car can be matched-moved with the camera shake. The trials rider is a 3rd layer that has been matched with the camera shake as well and has been masked out behind the car.
It's actually a pretty good job in this youtube quality. In HD the car would be unrealistic. Color matching and color corrections is essential in compositing. But good job.
