Weight distribution - How important is it on a trials bike?

I've been doing trialsy moves on my Dj/Urban assult bike (modified 05 Kona shred - don't laugh too hard) for 3 years now and Yes @35 lbs it's a good workout, but I don't mind. Well, the fork (o4 Marz Dj3) is starting to go out. I'm strapped for cash, so I'm considering gettting a rigid 29er fork. It is going to make the bike feel kinda rear wheel heavy. How bad of an idea is that?

Suggestions?

I don't want a dedicated trials bike because It will limit my other interests. I ride urban and XC trails on this too.

I think a 29 fork is about 470mm, It should be pretty close to a slammed jumper fork. Make sure you get a strong one. not sure about the other questions.

Yes, It will put me right at my current ride height.

Follow-up: Got the fork it's a 29er Surley Karate monkey fork (sure it's no trials fork, but it was only $20 new in the wrapper, so it suits my experimental purpose). Absolutely no ill effects! It rides great. I didn't realize it before, but it was really nose heavy. Now it feels good. Bunnyhops are way better, rear balance is better pedal up to rear is like it should be. I've even ridden it on some local XC trails and dig it. I'm sold on rigid. Being 5lbs lighter don't hurt either.

It's the stock Kona DH aluminum riser bar and "clump" stem.
Here's how she sits right now:

Nice, hope it holds up. It's surley, but it's trials... hmm

Seriously, that worked out really nicely
