Nearly finished building my first trials bike and im stuck on brake boosters. Since they are offered in both 2 and 4 bolt versions is there any difference in performance between the two? Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

4 bolt boosters work better, but are more of a pain in the ass when you have to adjust your brakes.
So really it is a choice between slightly stiffer brakes (maybe not even noticeably different) or easier brake adjustment.

i have the 4 bolt kind. yes they are a pain in the ass to adjust but hydrolic rim brakes in general are. personally my swing arms flex with the brake booster. i like my brake booster. is great. never tried the 2 bolt so i cant compare them.

All things being equal (like braking force and booster geometry), a 4 bolt booster will always be stiffer. leverage and stuff
