a 34 hole hub? i don't even think those exist...36 holes maybe...

assuming it is a 36 hole hub, it can be done, but it's a bitch to do, won't be very strong, and unless you're very very good at building wheels it likely won't be round. i did it once, and unless you're completely broke or something, just get a new hub or rim, chances are you'll just fuck stuff up doing that

A good wheel builder can easily do that with negligible effect on strength.

If its 36H rim to a 32H hub then it wont be strong.

Just skip a hole on the hub ever 2 sets and you should be good.

Not to the topic but,

36 to 28 is easier... never did 36 to 32. I guess it can be done!
