What's your personal experience with this bike. I get a discount at the shop I work at,
EVOLVE TRIALS BIKE | 2007 | Size T | BLUE
[054250-T-07-01] Price: $596.90 CDNand the msrp is 919.00

Should I jump on it as a beginner trials bike?

Just my personal opinion would be go for a used echo or something in that price range and you will like it alot more than the norco. My bud had the 2005 evolve I think and it was okay to start off on but he grew out of it and got a meta really fast.

Yeah I was looking at an echo in the buy sell section
I might spend a bit more and go for that.
I was also wondering why some have seats and some don't. There's no difference in the riding right?

Nope, it's there only for when you want to rest, but you can just use your tyre.

Don't buy it.
I own it and have ridden it for two months. I've already bought a used (proper) trials bike. It gets you into the scene easily enough, but you are already here.
Buy a trials specific bike.
Plus, the Evolve has so much shitty componentry, that you'll be spending money upgrading it. Just blow the cash on a real trials bike.
When I was talking to my friend about it, he said, "That bike will hold you back." I bought it anyway... It's true. I can do more on his bike than I can do on the Evolve, easily.

Hmmm, i just saw the price you can get it for...
Buy it and sell it UNUSED! You'll make a profit, and then you can buy a trials bike!!

go check it out and if it looks in good condition do it. Way better than an evolve.
