There was a dude a while back who put a mod stem on his GU typhoon. And i think Vinco put ones on his Monsterboy but unless you have a really high bb then it wont help. Having the bars all up in your face like that isnt comfy or safe.

I put Zhi Stock stem on my Pure and it helped a ton.

The stem on it was a 70 +6 and the Zhi is a 120 +20(I think) and was only $35. Mod stems are what? 135 +35 and up I think.

a mod stem may feel better as a beginner, but guaranteed- it will hold your development back. i wouldn't reccomend it.

i run a monty 150mm by 30 degree mod stem on the megamo equip with a +20bb rise. I think it feels awesome since my frame is very short. On a long frame I wouldn't use a mod stem unless your bb rise is at least +40
