I am about to order a complete Meta for my first ever trials bike. Im trying decide on whether i should buy the mod or the stock.
Im about 5.9ft tall if that help.
Any suggestions???
I come from both a bmx and a cross country mountian background, so i am used to both 20 and 26in wheels.

The stock is a better bike. Trust me. Go for the stock Meta. If you are settled on getting a Meta.

just buy a used bike.. youll save money in the long run :)
I'd go for the mod, the geo seems more beginner friendly to me. I ride both mod and stock, if I wouldn't be 6"1 I'd ride mod only... personal preference I guess.

More people ride stock than mod. Stock is a lot more flowly, and you can do more than just power sidehops and pedal ups.

I herd the Meta mod is terrible. I don't know what to say if you're in between stock or mod, but as previously said, if you're for sure getting a Meta, then get the stock.
I would say stock anyways though.

I just went thru this and even went as far as getting a mod frame, but then this stock was handed down by the trials gods and I love it. I'll probably still build up the mod, but not for a while.
All most can say is that it's easier to learn on a mod, but fuck that. None of us are drawn to this in the search for something easy to do. So, put that entirely out of yer head and (like carnagr and FDS have said) just think about what kind of rider you want to be and watch some vids.
(Coming from a strictly BMX background) Things seem to take a bit of forethought and effort on the stock, but the other side of that is that everything seems to be slowed down a little bit and the balance points on the front and rear wheels are massive. So, even as a beginner, I feel very smooth on the stock and even though you have to put a little more into it, I wouldn't call it "hard".
Get the stock dude. Or don't.

Thanks for the help! I will probably get the Stock Meta, I just hope that the length wont be an issue for me since im about 5.9ft.

The length will be no problem for you as I ride stock and I am 5' 9"!
