Planet X Mod Trials Bike - $400 (plus shipping if not in Utah).
The frame is a prototype aluminum Planet X frame with mostly Monty parts. HS 33 brakes with ground rims (no need for tar). I weight 145 pounds and don't do huge drops to flat on this big, i.e. more than 6 feet, so the bike still has a lot of life left in it. Since this was a prototype frame, it initially didn't have a rear brake mount – the the previous owner (an employee at Web Cyclery) had the brake mounts welded on, hence the slightly mismatched touch up paint. The chain tensioners are also custom jobs – they do a fine job holding the wheel in place, but require a bit a fiddling to get set just right – not really a big deal, since there is rarely any need to remove the rear wheel. I blew through a handful of bmx freewheels, and ultimately upgraded to a White Industries trials freewheel (pretty much indestructible).
More details on the parts:
Monty parts:
Bulge bar and stem, tires, rims (ground), and hubs (monty quando), cranks, fork (disc and 4 bolt HS 33 mounts)
Others:
Planet X platform pedals
Magura HS33 brakes (4 bolt front, evolution rear)
FSA the pig headset
White Industries Trials freewheel
18x12 gearing
The bike is still in great shape, but I simply haven't been riding it enough over the past couple of years to justify keeping it around.
Pm me if interested.
