hey guys..I wanted to get a trials bike soon..I've never ridden trials, I've been more into street, park, freeride and DH..
I have been looking into alot of bikes, but I have one question whatt are the ups and downs to a 20'' wheel VS. a 26'' wheel?
Pros and cons on both?
Thanks

I think 20" is the way to go for beginners. The steering will feel a bit awkward at first, since you're coming from mountain bikes.
With 20" bikes, you have more room to move your body weight around, and it is easier to get off the bike when you make mistakes. You can also build a lighter 20" bike easier than you can with a 26" bike.
Once you get the basics down with the 20", you can start thinking about going 26"

26" -cheaper to find tires and tubes, and you're probably used to 26" wheel from xc or something...and your bike would look like real bike

i went from mtb street/urban riding to a 26" trials bike and the switch wasnt too akward. shorter rear end and longer front but otherwise felt good. i think if you already can do basic street moves on a mtb then the 26" will feel better

This is good advice.......this is how I started. Even though your coming from 26" bike the mod is def a better learning tool in my opinion
