I just got a bunch of picture from a buddy who went to the 1990 Worlds in Durango. They aren't labeled so I am not 100% sure who the riders are (some are obvious). I'll post a couple different sets since there are close over 40 pictures.

Funny these should come up now. I just finished scanning a bunch of his old pics.
I dunno if he welded that one, but he welded this one, and rode it!!!!

The riders name with the green/white Etto helmet was Clint Knapp. I believe he mostly just did Colorado events. The porn shorts look like something Aaron Faust used to wear but I don't remember if he rode for Yeti

on a side note off the yeti page:eek3danc:
That's not a Yeti, it's a frame that a father built for his son that he could race DH. Internal gearbox, one sided swingarm with internal chain routing, the rear suspension was built by a guy who used to make shocks for tanks etc.
Probably the most innovative mountain bike in a loooooooong time. :eek5:

the first guy is Aaron Faust. yes I did build all those trials frames. The white one Unissmog posted is from around 85/86 or so after I returned from mammoth#1 in 85 or 86. I was sponsored by shimano at the time and had rear disk from a rickshaw on the white bike.
At both Yeti and Spooky I built limited runs of mod frames. It may never be big in the US but I like it just fine.
I will add some more oldies as I get them..

Some more old school stuff from my video vault.
Norba Swatch Trials at Mammoth Mountain in 1988.
Riders: Hans Rey and Ot Pi when he was 17 years old.

Wow! That brings back memories. Watching that Mammoth event on ESPN was what got me into trials.
