Built up a new ride, hoping to break it in today. Really wasn't going for a light bike, but posted the parts that were nice/lightweight. Bike is Echo'd out for the most part. I'll report back on the codes, not sure if they can top my v-brake, but they feel great so far.
Parts highlights:
Avid Codes, 203 rotors
Crank Brothers Opium headset(66g)
Hope Pro2 hubs, Echo rims
Xpedo MX-3 pedals(416g/pr)
Schwalbe Big Betty 2.4/Kenda Blue Groove 2.35

You always were a color theme whore! Matches your Daytona... Sucks to be stuck at work when the suns out. Rob, drive out here this weekend and lets go ride with Mr Fancypants new bike.

I just want to be there when Graham bends a rotor. My guess is 12min into a ride ;)
I will have to plan a trip soon. I need some Three Floyds and Aurulio's?? Pizza .....mmmmmm

Aurelio's. We may go downtown for some other famous pizza shiz.
I rode for a little over an hour yesterday with no rotor bends. I even was side hopping, go figure.
Bike rides quite well, very happy with the geometry. Codes are starting to grab really well, but not to their potential. Still some slip when you don't quite make it.

My rear Code took about 3 months to bed in 100%..... But it's been amazing ever since..... Try running that rear rotor in the opposite direction, it'll feel better I promise

You know, I was just going to ask about that. I'll try it soon, I just got a pinch flat.:momaru:

I tried runing the rotors either way..It didn't make a difference in power or feel. They feel great either way!
Looks awesome :eek5: I wish I had a dual disc bike for winter/wet riding.
