That looks cool, but why doesn't someone make an adult frame like that-no rear triangle?

Dang!

he looks a little concerned about 5-ing everything?

I wish I had've bought that for my son. Makes learning to ride that much easier without pedals to start with. Its then a natural progression to pedals with no balance issues.

Do they make a bike like that with pedals? I have a nephew who loves trials but it too small for a mod.

For those of you who have young ones and no Monty dealers, Specialized also makes one of these new fangled push bikes:

Thanks!
Its really cool. I love those fat rear stays. I dont deny, I bought it mainly for myself. Now i can touch welds and turn little wheels :-)
I had to put grips off though. Too thick foam for child's hand i think.
It also has nice details. Stamped "M" on the gusset as on the big bikes. It even has a wider rim in the back! thats funny.

This is the smallest bike Monty makes. Then they have 205 PR for kids around 5.
Not as radical, but nice as well.

Pretty spendy though I would imagine.

You can just take the BB and cranks off a normal kids bike. :dunno:

Looks cool though.

We had those in our shop over the summer, seem to remember they were £80.

Really good for tailwhips too :coold:

Darkside-is that a production bike from koxx, or a one of a kind? Looks like that would be light.

Some how I failed to notice there is a lack of peddles on the wee-bikes.
Kid looks supper happy, I sure would have been!

[W]hy doesn't someone make an adult frame like that-no rear triangle?
Because it's structurally inferior (would in fact be heavier if made strong enough). And those that do, do mainly for aesthetics.

It does make sense that an adult-or big assed american kid- would break it for sure. The strangest thing is that I have been to giants web sight, and there was no sign of that bike. Perhaps it's not available to the US.
