I started riding trials again a couple of years ago. I was never good to begin with when I started in 87 or so., anyway, these days I have a nice machine and have a couple of guys to ride with. While I don't improve as fast as I once did, I still get better or do something that amazes me every day.

I just wanted to say something because now when I get on my bike, it feels "normal" like better than walking. I still don't ride that well but you don't need to. Even riding like shit is still riding and still feels great. I posted some pics in the media area. enjoy

heh, you answered my question in the other thread. i know what you mean - a mate and i went out for a blat today and we both rode like shit. i only got one line that was even mentionable that i hadn't done before.

but it was still fun, that's why we were there i guess.

Haha, I went out last night, suxed it up and generally rode poorly, but still had a whole bunch of people get stoked on my riding.
I am bad for getting angry and pissed off with my riding, but seeing people smile and shake their heads in wonder/pity (haha) makes me realise that it is all about having fun as much as progressing/learning something new.

Cheers for the words and pics Frank, nice to hear other people get that "normal" feeling too. :)

I know what you are saying. I am just learning trials and everyday I ride, even though I am no good yet, I have fun in trying.
