View Full Version : Removing the paint from a Try-all rim

So I was thinking about removing the colour from my back rim to match my front one:bigthumb:....but it seems like the rim isnīt painted but is like a final product of a chemical process:werd:...so does anybody know how to remove it??...is there a normal colour or is the coulour made by a chemical way??....if itīs a chemical process is it removable by something or I have to grind down the colour?? THX for all the answers:) btw it not the fluo rim itīs the regular bule one.........

just sand it down and paint over it
I think anodization can be removed with caustic soda, but i don't know much about it

to madbiker66: the second link says, that oven cleaner has that caustic soda thing....so maybe Iīll find it in the kitchen:D...Iīll have a try....thx guys
