Alright, so I'm going to be building up the ZHI frame I got a few weeks back and I have some questions for yinz guys.

First, is that I need a new frok, and i was just wondering what would be good? Do you think the GU stock fork would be good? How would it compare to a Pure or Urban? Right now I'm on a control with (I think and old pure fork) I'm not looking for a big change either.

Also, I'm going to paint the frame and I thought I could ask you guys your opinions on what color? It's going to have blue parts (handlebar, rims, pedals hubs) and so I was thinking matte black (if I get that GU fork) and maybe fade to blue? Or should I do it all black, or I dunno it's up in the air, and I'm bored, so let me know what you think.

Thanks for letting me waste your time! Comments please!

Nice Mikey, I think either of those forks will do the trick?

As far as paint goes if the original finish is still good I would just leave it white and remove the decals, that should look nice with your parts, thats what I did with mine and it looked great.....post pics when your doneskeeez's

I'm not sure, but I think the deng forks that have a cnc crown are a lot stiffer than the urbans/pures. So if you like some flex then you might look into some forks without all that cnc thingie, but if you have nothing against solidness then it should be a good choice.

About time you used those blue rims...... I know. :wiggle: Thanks again!

The front wheel is built and at home! I should post pics next time I go home. (My first wheel I ever built!) haha and for the rear one I will have to take my current wheel apart to use my hub, so I'm going to need everything before I build that. That will probably happen this summer.

Thanks for the replies. The frame is actually black right now. The previous owner spray painted it black. It's not a terrible job, but since I have a working bike in the mean time I can take my time and repaint it. My newest idea, was matte black with blue around the bb and up a few inches on the seat tube, chainstays and downtube, then a thin (1/2 inch) white stripe before the black. Hows that sound?
