Holy Roller front, which if you are going to do any trials moves, or ride natural will be really, really shitty (thinnish sidewalls). I am running a Specialized Roller on the rear which feels really nice for trials moves, but is pretty damn godawful when it comes down to streety type stuff. Im hoping once its worn it will feel better....

You weren't around before 2005?

Hahaha, I was sort of waiting for the modest mouse comments...it just made using the song that much more enjoyable.
I think I could ride downhill dirt jumps on it...or anything jumps that dont require any form of pedal action. It is a really fun bike and since a buddy of mine just gave me a non trials wheel (Im running a hope hub) Im thinking of swapping wheels and drivetrain and playing on this thing at speed too...

Loved watching that!! Makes me want a 24!! Very creative riding and pretty tech stuff in there too.

obviously it's not a trials specific bike but it looked awkward as hell on the rear tire. I'd probably like a 24" ride but I have no balls to try BMX-y type stuff

no, the bike feels great on rear wheel. I am just not good at rear wheel tricks and try to hop as little as possible...how do you look on rear wheel? Id like to see how its done please!

It just looks like a struggle to pull the front up. I haven't really ridden much (once last season) or watched many videos lately, but if you check out any other videos it seems like most bikes sort of just 'pop' onto the rear, and the front goes up much higher than it was in this vid.
I just figured it was the way/style you were riding. I wasn't trying to say it's wrong or anything.
After watching again I think it's because the short/low stem pulls you really far forward on the bike, not like your typical trials bike where you're basically in the form of sitting on a chair when on the rear wheel.
Know whaddi mean?
Edit: love at 2:13 where the kid on the trampoline just boings over the bush

i do hear you, but i dont think a higher front wheel looks better. I try to ride without corrective hops and in general am pretty lazy on my bike compared to most people.
The bike feels awesome on rear wheel. I just would rather do things quickly and without hopping then make it look like another trials video.
the cats pajamas
and dan i may be in NYC for a weekend soon
